fees and medicare rebates
The standard fee for a 50-minute session is $150. A Mental Health Treatment Plan, and a referral from your GP must be organised prior to your psychology appointment should you be eligible, and wish to claim the Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session.
If you are eligible, you may claim the rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, each year.
payment options
Payment is taken on the day of your appointment via the secure Halaxy payment system.
If eligible the Medicare rebate will also be processed on the day of your appointment. Client's generally receive the Medicare rebate into their nominated bank account within 2 business days. For an exact timeframe we suggest checking with the Medicare office.
We understand some clients may be experiencing difficult financial circumstances, in this event we can discuss our concessional fee policy however there may be a waitlist for this service. This will need to be discussed over the phone or by email prior to your session.
cancellation policy
We understand that circumstances sometimes change. Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment we request you do so a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment time in order to avoid a late cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of your appointment. This also enables the practice to contact those on the waiting list.
